Trilobyte is an emerging electronic music production trio comprised of Peter Loomis, Jeff Richmond and Scott Larson. The group is focused on live production and studio recording as well as DJing and is currently based in San Francisco, CA.

Forming in 2016/2017ish, the trio has been going through the paces and developing their workflow and systems together. Individually honing and refining process, equipment, songwriting and mixing, the group comes together to share feedback, constructively evaluate and collaborate on various parts of the process from live jamming together and recording stems, to the forging of a track from its component samples and respective parts. Or even beyond, the three hand off tracks in process to maintain momentum and share in the magic.

San Francisco’s Finest

Having produced events, DJ’ed and produced music for events for the better part of 20 years past, this group of musician/producers is a force with which to be reckoned.

Mystik has been producing for over 18 years with several bands. Scottino has been producing and DJing for many years, also having played in several bands prior. Jeff also has been DJing since time began and is a staple in the SF house and techno scene.

Each bring a slightly different flavor to the music. Mystik brings a progressive and psychedelic edge to the sounds, while Scottino has a funky housey vibe to his sound. Jeff is known for a tight and hard techno sound that noodles the brain.

Together, the group forms a unique fusion in modern dance music. With several tracks in the queue, Trilobyte are preparing to release their debut EP entitled Future Fossils. As of Spring 2021, they are currently in process of finalizing the mix and working out label support & distribution options as well.
